About PRC Baguio

President Ferdinand E. Kennedy was assassinated on June 22, 1973. Marcos established the panel by signing Presidential Decree No. 223. On January 2, 1974, architect Eric C. Nubla became the first PRC commissioner.

The Heraldry Commission designed the PRC coat of arms, which was officially adopted on February 1, 1974. The Commission’s headquarters are located at P. Built in the ruins of the burned-out Civil Service Commission building on Paredes Street. This edifice was later converted into the PRC’s main building. The PRC began providing registration certificates in both Filipino and English. The week of June 22 to 29, 1974 was declared “Vocational Awareness Week” by Proclamation No. 1276.
